Failed to live up to market expectations when third (11/10f) at Newcastle (1m; standard) in December. That looked an above-average contest for the time of the year, and he could well make it third time lucky.

Needs to step up markedly on debut effort when failing to beat a single rival when last of four at Chelmsford (6f; standard) just 16 days ago. Steps up in trip to 1m, but has too much to prove to recommend.
Exceed And Excel colt makes plenty of appeal for powerful connections in what is an open race on debut. Cost 200,000gns as a yearling, and is a half-brother to three winners. Stable currently operating at 25% strike-rate. Should be bang there.
Improved marginally on debut effort when fourth over C&D last time out. Will need to take a sizeable step forward on what she has shown to have a say in this contest though. Probably one to be more interested in when sent handicapping.
Toronado filly who made little impression on debut at Kempton (1m; standard to slow) when green and in rear for much of the race. Likely to improve with that experience under her belt, but will need to if she wants to feature prominently.
Showed little to enthuse over when a never dangerous ninth of 10 on debut at Kempton (7f; standard to slow) last month. Stable haven't had a winner from any of their last 28 runners (119 days). Steps up to 1m. Watching brief maintained.

Provided the 200,000gns Richard Hannon/King Power Racing newcomer Win Win Power doesn't produce a superstar performance on debut, this can go to DUBLIN PHAROAH. The selection was well-backed last time out, but may have been unlucky to bump into a pair of potentially above-average newcomers. This contest doesn't look as hot on paper, and this son of American Pharoah can finally get off the mark at the third attempt. As for the rest of the field, Hover is one to be interested in each-way after he showed enough on debut when fourth to suggest he has a bright future at some level of the game. Both Giuseppe Cassioli and King Of The South are ones to watch in the betting.
