8/1
A whopping 15lb lower than when winning over C&D in September 2018; may revive eventually, but you'd be hard pushed to identify exactly when; others are more appealing.

Blinkered when landing a touch on handicap debut at Kempton (1m) in January; that same headgear is now re-applied following a comeback run at Chelmsford five weeks ago; on a workable mark.

Reasonably proficient in his grade at the vast majority of AW tracks (is a C&D winner); 1lb lower than when finishing 3L fourth to Beepeecee here (7f) in October.

Frustratingly for connections is continuing to perform well below the best of his abilities; 7lb lower than when beaten 1¼L by Nawar over C&D (Class 5) in June.

5lb higher than when beating Magicinthemaking by 2¼L at Chelmsford in August; has a similar chance to Chetan on the basis of recent course form (7f); stamina to prove at 1m.

Cost 42,000gns as a juvenile; low-key in maiden/novice contests; 20-1 when ninth of 13 on handicap debut at Leicester (7f, soft) in June; absent since.

Eight-race maiden; reverts back to the AW following a short break (86 days); can she take advantage of a career low mark (57) in a particularly weak contest?

Age: 3|  Weight: 9-2| J: Jacob Clark(7)| T: Martin Smith| OR:  55
66/1
Placed over 5f at Yarmouth (for Richard Spencer) in June; has scarcely beaten a single rival since joining Martin Smith for 6,500gns; stamina is far from assured at 1m; newly fitted tongue-tie accompanies a hood.

Folded very tamely from the furlong pole on handicap debut at Newcastle (6f) three weeks ago; cheekpieces are added over a new trip seeking some signs of improvement; essentially is risky.

12-race maiden with bits and pieces of positive form in the context of this race; led and kept on at the one pace when third (beaten 4¾L) to Avorisk Et Perils over C&D 12 days ago; stablemate of Duke Of North.

Duke Of Northb112
Age: 7|  Weight: 8-12| J: Isobel Francis(7)| T: J R Boyle| OR:  49| C| D
14/1
Went close on a couple of occasions during the summer (1m-1m2f, turf); hasn't won on the AW since 2015; in newly applied blinkers holds a broadly similar chance to stablemate My Law.

Forecasts

Subliminal (4/1), Chetan (4/1), Vincenzo Coccotti (13/2), Brains (7/1), My Law (7/1), Huddle (8/1), The Warrior (8/1), Kodiline (12/1), Duke Of North (14/1), Sweet Jemima (16/1), Cookupastorm (66/1), Calima Calling (66/1)

15:30 Lingfield - 28 November 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

An uninspiring finale. Jim Boyle is doubly represented with My Law and Duke Of North and a case of sorts can be made for either runner. Brains remains on a workable mark for Jamie Osborne, so he's one to monitor closely in the market exchanges in refitted blinkers (and with a recent run under his belt). However, with no real enthusiasm we'll chance the eight-race maiden HUDDLE in the hope that she can take full advantage of a career low mark (57) with the 5lb claimer Pierre-Louis Jamin taking over in the saddle.
  1. Huddle
  2. Brains
  3. My Law
