Won a Chester handicap back in May but slow starts tend to cost him, as seen here earlier in the week when 10th of 16. Hard to build a case for on that evidence up in class.
Five wins from nine starts since joining this yard including two renewals of the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes at Royal Ascot. Better than he showed last time at Newmarket but up against it in this class of race.
Grade 1 winner at Woodbine last year and a respectable effort in a Group 2 at Newmarket last time when third of six (Mirage Dancer runner-up). May struggle to reverse placing with that rival here.
Won this race in very comfortable fashion last year and had Desert Encounter in behind when runner-up at Newmarket last time out. Hard to beat in his bid for a fourth C&D success.
Won twice last year, a handicap at Meydan and a Group 3 in Australia prior to an excellent third in the Melbourne Cup. Well beaten in two races at Meydan this year in Group 2 company and looks vulnerable back down in trip here.

MIRAGE DANCER can confirm form with Desert Encounter last time out in the Princess Of Wales's Tattersalls Stakes at Newmarket and gain back-to-back wins in this race. Prince Of Arran can't be ruled out on his first start for 125 days if fit and ready for his return while Baghdad is less exposed than the remainder of these rivals.
