Wolferton Handicap (Listed)

In fine form when last seen, progressing through the handicaps at a rate of knots. Should have no problem competing in this class now but mark will be tough to overcome and he's entitled to need this run.

Won a couple of Listed races in his time but no suggestion he's well handicapped off this sort of mark and draw looks far from ideal.

Excellent fourth behind Highland Reel in the Coronation Cup proving there was no fluke to her runner-up effort behind Somehow the time before. Drop back in trip could see her in an even better light but this draw looks far from ideal.

Won a couple of class 2 handicaps last year and he went well on return at Newmarket when given an impossible task. Could come on for that run but handicapper given him another 3lb to carry and he may struggle off this mark.

Just a maiden win at Leicester to his name but his effort in last year's Dante suggests he has plenty of ability. Well beaten on final start of 2016 and well below form on two outings this year but should bounce back at some stage and first-time cheekpieces could help see him in a better light. Crowley prefers Khairaat.

Only just touched off on debut and won all three of his starts since. Very impressive when winning at Chester last time out, making easy work of a smart looking field and entitled to come on for that run. Hike in the weights justified and gives his trainer a good chance of recording his first success in this contest since 2009.

French-recruit for this yard who ran well in a couple of races out in Dubai this winter, latterly a second placed effort behind a lesser fancied stablemate. That winner hasn't really franked the form since and it's difficult to imagine this handicap mark is particularly lenient.

Has been out of form since winning a Group 3 at Chester and tailed off in a Listed race at Lingfield last time. Similar story at this course the time before and plenty to prove at present.

Won at Pontefract on his return to action but well beaten on a couple of subsequent starts off his revised mark and has a bit to find up at this class for the first time.

Looks better on the AW than he does on turf and out of form when seen last month. This handicap mark looks stiff enough and likely to struggle.

Won a Listed race at the end of 2015, beating Quarterback by 1½L but had an interrupted career since then and likely to have had his injury issues. Managed to string a couple of runs together this year but finished a disappointing last at Goodwood in May after a promising effort here earlier in the month and wouldn't appear to be one to have a lot of faith in.

Built on a promising run at Epsom with a win at Haydock last time. Could still be more to come provided the rain stays away and 5lb rise looks fair. Should go well.

Just one win to his name, coming on the AW at Chelmsford and he has paid the price for finishing runner-up in a Listed race with regards to his handicap mark. Still looks too high to be considered for win purposes here and possibly a little better on an artificial surface.

Won his first two starts on the AW for this yard and not disgraced when runner up in a Turkish Group 2 in 2015. Came back from over a year off the track with a couple of disappointing efforts at Meydan this winter and hard to fancy in current form.

Useful on his day but clearly looks like a better horse on the AW and never scored off a mark this high. Up against it.

Only seen three times last year but ran well in a couple of handicaps on the first couple of those starts and clearly not right when finishing well beaten in this race on final start of 2016. Some promise on his comeback run at Newbury when last seen and suspicion is that he's probably on a lenient mark if he's back to his best.
