A tough and consistent mare who appears to relish this track, with her record here since November 2016 reading; 4,1,5,2,1,2,3,7. Obviously has risen sharply in the weights, but effective over both 5F and 6F and continues in good heart as demonstrated on turf at Thirsk last month when a runner up to Yorkshiredebut.
Made the most of a good draw at Beverley on his penultimate start when a ¾L winner from Vimy Ridge (5F good) and ran well enough under a penalty at Thirsk just four days later. Reassessed and 2lb lower than for his latest outing and effective at this track based upon his sole start in October 2016 (third).
Has an affinity with this track, and has won three times here over 6F since June 2016. Goes well for this rider and his run style (makes all) perfectly suited to racing over a shorter trip so must enter the equation despite a couple of low key efforts at Wolverhampton.
Very colty on his final start for William Haggas at Redcar in September (runner up to Hyland Heather) and no surprise that he was gelded thereafter. Moved on for 26,000 gns, but yet to show any emphatic progress since switched to handicaps. AW debut and not one to give up on just yet.
Well suited by this trip (all five career wins over 5F), but heavily eased on his latest start at Catterick last month. Feasible he's on the downgrade, but is handicapped to win and tries Tapeta at Newcastle for the first time.
Won here over 6F for Dandy Nicholls in November 2016 from just a 1lb lower mark (dead-heat) and a reliable enough sort at this track overall (2,3,11,1,7). Back from a break for a new and in-form trainer and worthy of a check for market optimism. Non-runner here on May 23rd.
Won on debut as a juvenile at Goodwood in June 2016 (5F), and headed to the Queen Mary next at Royal Ascot (tenth of 17). Career stagnated a shade thereafter with her best run since coming over 5F at Redcar in April (third to the progressive Carlton Frankie and Kinloch Pride). Makes her AW debut rated 75.
Twice a winner over this trip on turf as a juvenile last spring, and placed in a pair of Beverley handicaps from a similar mark to this early doors in 2017. Not so good when upped to 6F at Hamilton latest and drops back in trip for just a second career AW start.
Consistent performer throughout 2017 for this trainer and won twice at Wolverhampton (both 6F) after finishing a good third to First Excel here in January. Runner up the past twice, but inches up the weights ever more. Won over this trip here on turf in 2014.

Another competitive handicap to round off the action at Newcastle with course regulars such as Poppy In The Wind and Slingsby present and correct. However, it is the Tom Dascombe trained three-year-old filly KACHESS who catches the eye from a rating of 75. She makes her AW debut and is open to improvement on this surface now returned to a more suitable minimum trip. Her Redcar third behind Carlton Frankie and Kinloch Pride reads well and she's worth chancing in a race where many of the others are consistent but reasonably exposed.
