Followed up a double on the Flat (including here) by winning over hurdles last September. Latest Flat success here came off an 8lb lower mark over 1m4f on good-to-soft ground and interesting on seasonal debut with this step up in trip looking likely to suit.

Forecasts

Master Dancer (6/4), Akavit (3/1), Riptide (7/1), Filatore (7/1), Urban Space (8/1), Fuzzy Logic (8/1), Sail With Sultana (12/1), Taste The Wine (20/1), Aaman (25/1)

16:20 Chepstow - 5 May 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The step up in trip here looks likely to suit MASTER DANCER, a winner over 1m4f at this track in September last year and successful on both Flat outings since cheekpieces were applied last year. The selection has since followed up over hurdles and has been given a break since finishing well beaten in a handicap hurdle at Cheltenham in November. Akavit ran well at Bath last month on his first turf run of the year and is taken to finish runner-up ahead of the veteran Riptide who ran well when finishing third in a marathon event at Pontefract last month.
  1. Master Dancer
  2. Akavit
  3. Riptide
