Atalanta 1-1 Manchester City

• Manchester City failed to win a Champions League group stage game they were winning at half-time for just the second time, also doing so against CSKA Moscow in October 2014 (2-2).
• Atalanta picked up their first point in a Champions League match, having lost each of their first three matches in the competition.
• Manchester City have been shown more red cards in their 18 games in all competitions this season (3) than they were in 61 games last term (2).
• This was Man City manager Pep Guardiola’s 600th game in charge of a top-flight club in all competitions (W440 D95 L65).
• Six of Man City’s Raheem Sterling’s 19 Champions League goals have been against Italian sides, more than he’s scored against opponents from any other country in the competition.

Crvena Zvezda 0-4 Tottenham Hotspur

• Tottenham’s victory this evening was their first away win in any competition in nine games this season (D5 L3), and their first victory on the road since they beat Ajax in the Champions League back in May.
• Crvena Zvezda have suffered their heaviest home defeat in their European Cup/Champions League history.
• Tottenham have become the first English team to beat Crevena Zvezda away from home in a Champions League/European Cup tie.
• Crvena Zvezda have conceded more goals than other side after four rounds of matches in this season’s Champions League (13).
• Tottenham have now scored in each of their last 13 Champions League away games – only Chelsea (13 between March 2000 and April 2005) can match such a run amongst English sides in the competition.
• Tottenham forward Son Heung-Min has scored five goals in just four Champions League appearances this season, netting in three straight games in the competition for the first time in his career.
• Giovani Lo Celso has scored his sixth goal in his last eight appearances across the Europa League/Champions League, with this his first goal in any competition for Tottenham Hotspur.

• Chelsea are the third English side in Champions League history to come from three goals behind to avoid defeat and the first since Liverpool in May 2005 (3-3 v AC Milan).
• Chelsea have conceded 4+ goals in a single Champions League game for only the third time in their history and first time since drawing 4-4 at home to Liverpool in April 2009.
• Ajax have scored 4+ goals in a game against an English team in all European competition for only the second time (also 5-1 vs Liverpool in December 1966 at home in the European Cup).
• Reece James (19y, 332d) became Chelsea's youngest ever goalscorer in Champions League history.
• Five of Jorginho's six goals for Chelsea in all competitions have been scored via the penalty spot.
• Chelsea conceded three goals in the first half of a Champions League game for the first time in their history. In fact, the Blues were the second side to concede two own-goals in the first half of a Champions League game after CFR Cluj (v Bayern Munich, October 2010).

• KRC Genk have played more matches in the history of the European Cup/UEFA Champions League without winning than any other club (16 – W0 D8 L8),
• Liverpool have conceded in eight consecutive matches in all competitions, last going longer without a clean sheet between September and October 2014, under Brendan Rodgers (run of nine).
• Mohamed Salah has been directly involved in 68 goals in 59 appearances for Liverpool at Anfield across all competitions (50 goals and 18 assists).
• Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has scored four goals in his last four games for Liverpool, as many as in his previous 45 appearances for the Reds across all competitions.

Bayern Munich 2-0 Olympiakos

• Bayern Munich have won each of their first four matches of a Champions League campaign for the fourth time, also doing so in 2010/11, 2013/14 and 2014/15.
• Olympiakos have now lost each of their last six away Champions League matches; their longest such run in the competition since a run of eight defeats between 2001 and 2003.
• Bayern Munich’s four wins from four games against Olympiakos in the Champions League is their joint-best 100% winning record against a single side, also winning each of their four matches in the competition against CSKA Moscow and Besiktas.
• Since he joined Bayern Munich in 2014/15, no player has scored more group stage goals in the UEFA Champions League than Robert Lewandowski (31 – same as Messi), and he has now scored in each of his last eight such games in the competition (13 goals).
• Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski tonight became the third player to score in eight consecutive Champions League group stage appearances, after Cristiano Ronaldo (nine, 2012 to 2014) and Lionel Messi (eight, 2015 to 2017).

Lokomotiv Moscow 1-2 Juventus

• Juventus have now beaten Lokomotiv Moscow in each of their four meetings in European competition, winning both matches in the 1993-94 UEFA Cup as well as the two clashes in the Champions League this season.
• Juventus have kept just one clean sheet in their last five group stage matches in the Champions League – this after keeping six shutouts in their previous seven games at this stage of the competition.
• Aaron Ramsey’s opening goal became the 300th goal Juventus have scored in the Champions League; the fifth club to reach this after Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester United.
• Aleksei Miranchuk’s goal for Lokomotiv Moscow (11:45) was the earliest goal the club has scored in the Champions League since Dmitri Loskov netted against Inter Milan in the third minute of their meeting in October 2003 (02:38).
• Lokomotiv Moscow’s Aleksei Miranchuk became the first player to score home and away during the group stages of a Champions League campaign against Juventus since Cristiano Ronaldo back in 2013/14.
• Aaron Ramsey’s goal in the third minute of the match made him the first British player to score a European Cup/Champions League goal for Juventus.

Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 Atletico Madrid

• Bayer Leverkusen have registered their first Champions League victory for almost two years, with this their first win in the competition since they beat Monaco 3-0 back in December 2016.
• Atletico Madrid have now lost two of their last four Champions League away group stage matches (D1 L1), suffering as many defeats as they did over their previous 17 matches in the competition beforehand (W8 D7).
• Nadiem Amiri is just the third Bayer Leverkusen player to be shown a straight red card in a Champions League match, after Ömer Toprak (v Roma) and Andrey Voronin (v Dynamo Kyv).
• In what was his 15th appearance for Bayer Leverkusen in European Competition (excluding qualifiers), Kevin Volland netted just his second Champions League strike for the club, and first since November 2016 against CSKA Moscow.
• Four of Bayer Leverkusen’s last six Champions League goals have come from the opposition scoring an own goal, including three of their last four.
• Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has scored in five consecutive club matches for the very first time in his career.

Dinamo Zagreb 3-3 Shakhtar Donetsk

• Shakhtar have become the first team in Champions League history to avoid defeat having been losing by 2+ goals going into the 90thminute.
• Shakhtar haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last 20 Champions League games, conceding 42 goals in the process.
• Dinamo Zagreb have scored nine goals in their last four Champions League games, as many as they had in their previous 25 in the competition.
• Dinamo Zagreb have now been shown a red card in each of their last three Champions League campaigns (2015-16, 2016-17 and 2019-20), with all of them coming on MD4.
• Mateus Tetê’s goal for Shakhtar was the latest scored in the Champions League (97:39) since Giovanni for Olympiakos against Galatasaray in November 2003 (97:41).

Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 Club Brugge

• Paris Saint-Germain now haven’t lost a home UEFA Champions League group stage match since December 2004 against CSKA Moscow and are unbeaten in their last 23 matches of this kind at the Parc des Princes (W18 D5 L0).
• Paris Saint-Germain have now scored in each of their last 24 group stage games in the Champions League, last failing to net in November 2015 (v Real Madrid).
• Club Brugge have scored just two goals in their last six games in the group stage of the Champions League, failing to score in five of those matches.
• Club Brugge had 14 shots in the match, the most they have had in an away game in the Champions League since October 2005 (16 v SK Rapid Wien).
• PSG’s Mauro Icardi has scored 8 goals in his first 10 games in the Champions League, only Sadio Mané, Simone Inzaghi & Harry Kane have done better in the history of the competition (9 each).

Real Madrid 6-0 Galatasaray

• This was just the second time Galatasaray conceded at least six goals in a Champions League match, also doing so against Real Madrid back in September 2013 at home.
• Galatasaray have now conceded 27 goals against Real Madrid in the Champions League – 13 more than against any other side in the competition.
• Real Madrid’s Rodrygo has become the youngest Brazilian to score in the Champions League (18y 301d), overtaking Paris Saint-Germain’s Marquinhos (19y 126d, v Olympiakos).
• Real Madrid’s Rodrygo has become the second youngest player to score a Champions League hat-trick (18y 301d), after Raul against Ferencvarosi in October 1995 (18y 113d)
• Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema has now scored in 15 different Champions League campaigns – only Ryan Giggs has scored in more (16).
• Karim Benzema scored his 50th goal for Real Madrid in the Champions League, the fourth player to do so for a single side after Lionel Messi (113 for Barcelona), Cristiano Ronaldo (105 for Real Madrid) and Raúl (66 for Real Madrid).
