Mauricio Pochettino: I'm not the manager, I'm not in charge of Tottenham transfers

Tottenham's Mauricio Pochettino says he has no influence over the Premier League club's transfers and believes his job title should be changed from manager to head coach to reflect this.

In a surprisingly open and honest post-match press conference following Spurs' 1-0 friendly win over Real Madrid Pochettino reiterated that he is only in charge of coaching his players and has no say in who comes in and out of the north London club.

When asked about the potential sale of Danny Rose Pochettino said: "I am not in charge, I know nothing about the situation of my players. I am only coaching them, trying to get the best from them."

England left-back Rose has been linked with a move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while Kieran Trippier has already left to join Atletico Madrid
